Initially I came across SAS Curriculum Pathways as a writing tool for students. Their online writing navigator guides students through the writing process and keeps them organized, focused, and mindful of the process. This is difficult to do as one teacher in a classroom of writers. After some more exploration, I realized how much sass there is to this free service for grades six through high school in various content areas correlated with Core Curriculum Standards. I volunteered to serve as my school coordinator. With that, one has the honor of admin privileges and access to answer keys for teachers. It's certainly worth checking out for your school. They are working on adding elementary grade level apps as well. Go take a look. |
